Hello Xanga-- I thought you died.

Hello again Xanga. I forgot about you for much to long...

I have this friend xanga,  his name is Matt.  Matt is a genius.  When I finally started to follow the genius's instructions I learned one thing xanga-- listen to a genius they are usually right.

As soon as you stop looking for something: All of a sudden it could walk in a door and blow you away and you begin to do stupid things.  And you know you're doing stupid things; but you keep trying-- mostly because your mind is mush; but also because you need to...  because your mind finally realizes that 1+1 can equal 3 if the circumstances are right; because there comes a point when basics are challenged and sometimes what you think is true about yourself changes and you find you're better off than you are, and that's always a good thing. No matter how improbable or impossible things become.

Hello xanga; it was nice to talk again although my mind is mush...

Currently Listening
Live at the Gaslight 1962
By Bob Dylan
hard rain's a gonna fall.

The thing about warm fronts is...

Having your own personal radar software is really great you get all these cool features and  radar scans and stuff...  all it really tells you is how miserable your day's weather will be and  how wet your jeans will be by the end of the day...

Thank you GRLevelX   software you make my morning so great to look at...  everybody see the little red circle?  that's rotation, a little to the southwest the city of Starkville is marked. That's where Mississippi State U is for all of the geographically uninclined people. and the big red bloch is rain.

Then this is a picture of closer to where I am from. About half way between the KDGX radar in the center of the map and the west edge of Mississippi is my house. In the middle of the purple (which is rain falling in ft. per hour instead of inches per hour) is great bird hunting land.  Don't worry its all under water.  Also notice more rotation just south of the green boxes in the red box.  cool.

Ah. and alas what day of the week is it?  Monday.   yep.  it is.

The Flight of the Phoenix

Near death experiences are truamatic sometimes you get to see Jesus...

I went to see my brother in Memphis last night we went to eat Pizza and we went to see the movie Flyboys. Then at 12:30 we are heading back to his house on I55 S about 4mi from Southhaven, MS when the rainy conditions catch up to us. At 55mph listening to The Fray we lost traction for an instant and then regained it turned the music down and slowed a little and then his 4-runner lost traction again and this time spun around 180 degrees TCS  began to wine as it was attempting to compensate but just when it had 2 wheels regain traction the other two went off the side of the road... All I had was a prayer "Jesus protect us" and then we rolled, I saw my whole life in front of me clear as day, I saw Jesus, I saw myself sitting in that 4 runner flipping over and over... and then I came back into myself and began to pray my brother Bill wouldn't die...  It finnaly came to rest at the bottom of the ditch upside down with the two of us haging upside down in the SUV with our seatbelts on.  Survival mode kicked in and we crawled out a tiny hole over broken glass bleeding and bruised up through the dirt and out onto the side of the road to get a cop to come... (isn't it annoying how 911 doesn't work on a cell phone?)   Then it started raining and we started to thank God we we're relatively ok under the circumstances...

In that moment of being upside down the only thing that really mattered was Love. because that is what let us live...

Don't worry in case you were wondering the first things we grabbed out of the car was the cold leftover pizza, the Mississippi State Football season tickets, The Fray CD and of course the Bible...   hmm   nice.

Point of advice from Bill H. (aka. Sr. Che)

This advice was given by Sr. Che to Sr. Fidel (me) on the American Beauracracy

if you ever have to get around the great American Beauracracy always remeber one thing:

If you say you don't feel led to do something or called to do something, it is the one thing that the great American Beauracracy doesn't have a form for; It cannot accept the fact that there maybe something even bigger than it.  Take for instance God.  The American Beauracracy cannot accept God becuase God is indefinite and cannot be constrained to a form...
